Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and authentication data. If you sign up using Google or other social login providers, we receive basic profile information from those services.

Connected Social Media Accounts

YouTube: Channel ID, channel name, channel thumbnail, and OAuth access tokens to publish videos on your behalf
TikTok: Username, display name, profile statistics (followers, following, likes, video count), and OAuth tokens to publish content

Content Data

We collect RSS feed URLs you provide, generated video scripts, audio files, rendered videos, and your publishing history and analytics to provide our service.

How We Use Your Information

To generate and publish videos on your behalf to your connected social media accounts
To display your social media growth metrics and analytics in our dashboard
To automatically refresh OAuth tokens to maintain active connections with social platforms
To improve our service, develop new features, and enhance user experience
To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries

TikTok Data Disclosure

We access your TikTok data only with your explicit consent when you connect your TikTok account to AutoVidSync.

Data Accessed: Profile information, follower count, following count, total likes, and video count.

How We Use This Data:

To publish videos you create with our service to your TikTok account
To display your profile statistics and growth metrics in our dashboard

Important: We do NOT sell your TikTok data to third parties. You can revoke our access at any time by disconnecting TikTok from your AutoVidSync account settings.

YouTube API Services Disclosure

AutoVidSync uses YouTube API Services to publish videos to your YouTube channel. Our use of YouTube API Services is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Google User Data Access:

AutoVidSync accesses Google user data only to publish videos to your YouTube account. We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose that data to any third parties except when required by law or necessary to securely operate the publishing function.

Google's Privacy Policy applies to your use of YouTube through our service. You can review it at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can revoke AutoVidSync's access to your YouTube account at any time via the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure powered by Supabase. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest to protect your connected accounts. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

We retain your data while your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove all your personal data within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

To provide our video generation service, we use the following third-party providers:

OpenAI/Anthropic: For AI-powered script generation
ElevenLabs: For voice synthesis and narration
Pexels: For sourcing stock footage and images
Shotstack: For video rendering and composition

Your videos are processed through these services but are not permanently stored by them beyond the processing period.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data stored in our system
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Disconnect social media accounts at any time from your settings
Export your data in a machine-readable format
Object to processing of your personal data
Withdraw consent for data collection at any time

Data Retention

Account data: Retained while your account is active
Analytics snapshots: Retained for 2 years for trend analysis
Generated videos: Retained for 90 days after creation, then automatically deleted
Upon account closure: All data is permanently deleted within 30 days

Children's Privacy

AutoVidSync is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes via email to your registered email address. Your continued use of AutoVidSync after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
